Steve Morrison, Chief Executive, All3Media

Steve Morrison After holding various senior positions at Granada Television, and starting Granada Film, Steve was appointed Chief Executive of Granada Media in 1996, becoming the Chief Executive in the IPO in 2000 and finally the Chief Executive of Granada plc in 2001.

Steve’s credits include World in Action (RTS Award), 28-Up (BAFTA), My Left Foot (2 Oscars), The Field (Oscar nominated) and Jack and Sarah.

Steve left Granada in September 2002 to go back to his roots and pursue a career once more as an independent producer and film maker as well as chair a Government Task Force on e-learning.

In August 2003, as part of an MBI team, he bought the Chrysalis Television group of companies from Chrysalis Plc, and is the Chief Executive and Executive Chairman of All3Media.

All3Media Group is now the leading Independent TV production company in the UK.

Neil Parker, Market Strategist, RBS

Neil Parker Neil joined the Royal Bank of Scotland in 1995 having graduated with an honours degree in economics and a masters degree in international economics. He has worked in economic research for 17 years and worked closely with former MPC member Marian Bell.

His current areas of focus are on the economies of the G10, interest rate and foreign exchange markets.

In this capacity, Neil regularly speaks at corporate events and seminars, hosts a regular monthly conference call for clients, attends client meetings and writes research on all of these subjects for clients and for publication in influential business journals.

Helen Enright, Chief Financial Officer, The Ambassador Theatre Group

Helen Enright Helen joined the Ambassador Theatre Group in 2000 from the advertising industry. She has a degree in English and History from Glasgow University and is a Chartered Accountant having qualified with Ernst and Young.

Helen has held a number of senior financial positions within public, privately owned and private equity backed companies which include M.A.I. PLC, French listed Vivendi and Exponent Private Equity. She has experience at strategic and operational levels including acquisitions, IT systems development and ticketing.

Kishore Lulla, Chair & CEO, Eros International plc

Kishore Lulla Kishore is the Group Executive Chairman of Eros International, the largest fully integrated film and Entertainment Company in India, and has been instrumental in expanding the presence of the Eros Group in UK, USA and other international markets.

In 1999 Mr. Lulla co-founded B4U, is a member of BAFTA and YPO as well as a board member of the UCLA Film School. In 2007, Mr. Lulla was honored at both the Asian Business and IndianFilm Academy Awards and in 2010 was awarded Entrepreneur of the Year at the GG2 Leadership & Diversity Awards.

In 2010 Mr Lulla and his family set up the Eros Foundation to help the education of children in the poorest regions throughout India leading to the development of self-sustaining communities.

Jon Thoday, Co-Founder / CEO, Avalon

Jon Thoday Jon Thoday is joint Founder and Managing Director of Avalon Entertainment Ltd, a multi-award winning comedy, entertainment television, factual television and talent management group with UK and US companies.

Avalon represents artists including Frank Skinner, Adrian Chiles, Fiona Bruce, Harry Hill, Russell Howard, Lee Mack, Kristen Schaal, Christine Bleakley and John Oliver.

Jon has executive produced successful TV shows including, Harry Hill's TV Burp, Not Going Out, Fantasy Football, Russell Howard’s Good News, The Frank Skinner Show, and US hit Workaholics; as well as leading the group into factual television with Grumpy Old Men/Women, Three Men in a Boat and shows such as BBC One’s Heir Hunters.

Douglas Broadley, CEO and Global Creative Director, Imagination

Douglas Broadley CEO and Global Creative Director, Douglas Broadley, leads global communication agency, Imagination, directing its multi-disciplinary offer across 14 offices. He determines Imagination’s strategic direction, ensuring that the agency stays at the forefront of creative expression and delivery.

Broadley was appointed CEO and Global Creative Director in 2008 and the business has grown since then through successful diversification across sectors and geographies. Broadley helps shape many of the world’s most respected brands, overseeing programmes for Shell, Ford Motor Company, Mazda and Aston Martin.

Douglas has a first class degree and a Masters degree in architecture from The Glasgow School of Art.

Douglas Emslie, Managing Director, Tarsus plc

Douglas Emslie Douglas Emslie BAcc (Hons) CA, joined the company when it launched in 1998 as Finance Director, becoming Group Managing Director in 2000.

Prior to joining Tarsus, he held senior management positions at Blenheim Group Plc and after its takeover, United Business Media plc. He was Chairman of the Association of Event Organisers between 2009 and 2011, and Chairman of the Events Industry Alliance in 2010. He is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.

Moray McLennan

Moray McLennan Moray joined Saatchi & Saatchi in 1983 having graduated from Christ’s College Cambridge with a degree in law.

A Board Director at 26, the youngest in the company’s history, he went on to become the Managing Director in 1992 at Saatchi & Saatchi. His key accounts include British Airways, Mars, Silk Cut and the Conservative Party (Thatcher elections 1987 and 1992).

In 1995, he left Saatchi & Saatchi together with Charles and Maurice and colleagues to start up M&C Saatchi as UK CEO. In 2009, he was appointed CEO Worldwide, was IPA President between 2007 and 2009, and in 2011 became the President of European Association of Communication Agencies.

Julie Meyer

Julie Meyer Julie is Founder and CEO of Ariadne Capital, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of the Ariadne Capital Entrepreneurs (ACE) Fund, Founder of Entrepreneur Country and Co-Founder of First Tuesday.

Julie founded Ariadne Capital in 2000 which backs entrepreneurs in the digital health, mobile money, broadcast media and entertainment, and smart cities ecosystems. Ariadne pioneered the model of ‘Entrepreneurs Backing Entrepreneurs’ as the new model of the financing of entrepreneurship and its investment framework is "Ecosystem Economics".

Most recently Julie founded Entrepreneur Country, a community for leading and emerging entrepreneurs, investors, the media and corporate partners who service the start-up industry. She sits on the Boards of INSEAD, Medikidz, Vestergaard Frandsen and Jellybook.
